First: Replace the fuel supply pump (Take J08E engine 30T as an example)
When replacing the oil supply pump, please find the ① top dead center, install the ② guide bolts, and then disassemble and install the oil supply pump.
When disassembling the oil supply pump without finding the dead point, please align the position of the guide bolt hole of the coupling flange and install a new oil supply pump.
I.Remove the oil supply pump (do not rotate the shaft)
II.Mark the position of the guide bolt hole of the coupling flange on the housing of the bearing housing (engraved mark)
III. Align the position of the guide bolt hole of the coupling flange marked on the bearing housing shell to install the new oil supply pump.
Note: The oil supply pump is provided as a single unit (without bearing housing and coupling flange), so it is necessary to disassemble and assemble the coupling flange
Decomposition method: fix the coupling flange on the vise table, loosen the nut, and remove it with a detacher.
Assembly method: Fix the coupling flange on the vise table and tighten the nut.
There is no disassembler or vise to disassemble the coupling flange
Decomposition method 1: There is a screw hole for the detacher on the coupling flange
(M10×P1.5), install bolts on the coupling flange, press the bolts with an iron rod, and loosen the center nut.
Decomposition method 2: Loosen the nut with a general tool
Decomposition method 3: Screw on the bolts and remove the coupling flange
Note that in order to prevent damage to the shell when disassembling, put protective materials such as thin iron sheets and washers on the front of the bolts.
Assembly
Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. Tightening torque: 63.7N·m{650kgf·cm}
Second: J05E engine (for 20T)
The oil supply pump is provided as a single unit (without gear), so it is necessary to disassemble + assemble the drive gear
Disassembly: Fix the drive gear on the vise table, loosen the nut, and use the puller to remove the drive gear.
Assembly: Fix the drive gear on the vise table and tighten the nut.
The fuel supply pump of the J05E engine is gear-driven. When replacing the fuel supply pump, find the ① top dead center, and then remove and install the fuel supply pump after installing the special tool ②. Note that if the fuel supply pump is removed without finding the dead point, the fuel supply pump cannot be installed correctly.
In addition, when installing the oil supply pump, align the cutout of the drive gear plate with the hole of the special tool for installation.
Align the position of the fuel supply pump with a general tool (example of using an Allen key)
