Quick change device type
According to the different ways of using the quick-change device, it can be divided into two types: general-purpose type and special-purpose type.
Universal type: It is based on the two pin hinged structure when the standard bucket is installed at the end of the excavator stick, so as to design the connection between the quick change device and the stick, and the connection between the quick change device and the auxiliary equipment uses pins or (fixed or movable) locking hook method to achieve. In this way, by adjusting the center distance and diameter of the pins or locking hooks on the quick-change device, the connection with various attachments with different functions can be realized, and the general effect can be achieved.
This general-purpose quick-change device can be used on hydraulic excavators of the same tonnage, bucket capacity, and implement connection size from several manufacturers.
Usually, the quick-change device also has a special locking mechanism to ensure that the attachment is securely connected without accidental disengagement. However, since the intermediary part of the quick-change device is directly added to the stick and the implement, it is equivalent to increasing the length of the stick and the digging radius of the bucket to a certain extent, which has a negative impact on the digging force.
Special type: It is a specific machine or a series of machines tailored according to the tonnage and bucket capacity of certain types of hydraulic excavators. The auxiliary machine is directly connected to the excavator stick. The advantage is that there is no need to change the relationship between the stick and the auxiliary machine. Therefore, the performance parameters such as the working radius of the bucket and the digging force will not be greatly affected. However, the special type has the disadvantage that its application range is limited.
How to operate
First, bend the excavator arm and put it away, which is convenient for the actual operation below.
After disassembling and assembling the pipes, be sure not to dirty the pipe heads to prevent the gear oil from being polluted by the environment. At the same time, use rubber rings to block the two pipe heads. There is a power switch in the cab of the car, which is opened and closed by operating the quick-change connector. Because it is a modified accessory, the power switch part is different for each excavator, everyone should pay attention to the difference.
Turn on the power switch, and you can do the tipping posture up and down in about 3 seconds. You can see that the rear side of the quick-change connector rises with the I-shaped frame. At the same time, the arm is stretched and the arm is lifted up in time, so that it can be separated from the hammer.

Wear protective gear, gloves, goggles, etc. first when changing buckets, as debris and metal dust are likely to fly into the eyes when gravity strikes the axle pins. If the pin is rusted, it may be more strenuous to tap, so it is necessary to remind people around to pay attention to safety, and the removed pin also needs to be placed properly. When removing the bucket, put the bucket in a stable position.
When removing the pin, be sure to pay attention to safety, do not put your feet or other body parts under the bucket, if the bucket is removed at this time, it will hurt the staff. When removing or installing the bucket pin, the hole needs to be aligned, and be careful not to put your fingers in the pin hole. When replacing a new bucket, park the excavator on a level surface.
