Proper care and maintenance
First, the hydraulic oil should be regularly replaced during use of the cylinder, and the system filter should be cleaned to ensure cleanliness and extend service life.
Second, every time the oil cylinder is used, it must be fully extended and fully retracted for 5 strokes before running with load. Why do this? This can exhaust the air in the system and preheat each system, which can effectively prevent the presence of air or water in the system, causing gas explosion (or scorch) in the cylinder block, which will damage the seals and cause internal leakage of the cylinder. Wait for failure.
Third, control the system temperature. Too high oil temperature will reduce the service life of the seal. Long-term high oil temperature will cause permanent deformation of the seal or even complete failure.
Fourth, protect the outer surface of the piston rod to prevent damage to the seal from bumps and scratches. Frequently clean the dust ring of the cylinder dynamic seal and the sediment on the exposed piston rod to prevent dirt that is difficult to clean from sticking to the surface of the piston rod. Dirt enters the inside of the cylinder and damages the piston, cylinder barrel or seals.
Fifth, always check the threads, bolts and other connecting parts, and tighten them immediately if they are loose.
Sixth, lubricate the connecting parts frequently to prevent corrosion or abnormal wear in an oil-free state.
